Root canal treatment is a procedure that saves teeth that would otherwise have to be removed, used when the nerve of a tooth is irreparably damaged, often due to trauma, fractures or advanced decay. At our center, thanks to modern endodontic methods, we can preserve teeth that once would have been unsalvageable.

The treatment process begins with a thorough diagnosis and local anesthesia. After opening the tooth chamber, the dentist removes the infected pulp, checking the depth with an endometer and rinsing the canals with chemicals. The final step is a tight filling of the root canals with special endodontic material, performed with the use of dental microscopes.

.
Does diet affect dental health? +

Decidedly yes. Limiting sugars, avoiding snacking between meals and drinking water instead of sweetened beverages are key elements of prevention.

.
What does root canal treatment consist of? +

This procedure involves removing diseased or dead pulp from inside the tooth (canals), cleaning them thoroughly, disinfecting them and filling them tightly. The goal is to save the tooth from extraction.

Does root canal treatment hurt? +

No. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, making it completely painless. You may experience mild discomfort after treatment, which usually subsides after 1-2 days.

.
When is root canal treatment necessary? +

Most often with deep caries, pulpitis, tooth necrosis, mechanical trauma or complications from previous treatment.

.
Is it better to remove a tooth than root canal treatment? +

It is always worth saving a natural tooth if possible. Even the best implant cannot fully replace your own tooth

.
How long does root canal treatment take? +

Depending on the number of canals and complexity - from one to several visits. Thanks to the microscope and machine tools, many cases can be completed in 1-2 appointments

.
Is root canal treatment effective? +

Yes, if done properly, a tooth can serve for many years. In some cases, repeat treatment is necessary, such as when inflammation develops

.
Does a tooth need to be restored after root canal treatment? +

Yes. After root canal treatment, the tooth becomes more brittle, so it often requires restoration - from a simple filling to an inlay and prosthetic crown

.
Can a tooth change color after root canal treatment? +

Yes, sometimes a tooth can darken slightly. However, there are effective methods to whiten or aesthetically restore such a tooth
